That’s right, from the depths of the oceans to the vastness of the cosmos we traverse as a crew, you now join us on our journey in our next step: The amalgamation of DeFi, Community, Games and NFTs
“wen mint?”, “wat utility”, “how whitelist” — before we jump into all of that juicy information, let’s take a look at how we’re approaching the topic of NFTs as a core DeFi protocol.
Bridging DeFi and NFTs together
Now you’ve seen it happen in person — NFTs and community go hand in hand. There’s something primal about owning your identity, a visual that you identify with, something that echoes your state and aspirations.
Fantastic NFT projects have THE BEST community, second to none. However, most struggle to deliver fungible utility that isn’t borne out of convoluted money printing or distant promises.
On the other hand, we take a look at key DeFi protocols — they’re fantastic at what they do, generating revenue, delivering strong fungible partnerships.
Great DeFi protocols deliver tangible and sustainable revenue to their users. But when it comes to community, there is the element of community involvement, that primal spirit of identity that seems to be slightly lacklustre.
You see two mutually exclusive issues. We see the opportunity for a beautiful synthesis of utility and community.
The Argonauts Series
The introduction of the Argonauts NFT collection bridges these two distinct communities. These NFTs open up a new world to the Argonauts, bringing massive benefits for both DeFi and NFT enjoyooooors.
As a holder of an Argonaut, you’re now part of the core crew — access to partnerships, online events, exclusive minigames & rewards, all the while being fuelled by and fuelling stronger DeFi utilities and revenues.
Argo Finance and the Argonauts collection are symbiotic in nature — both contribute and coexist to bring extra utilities to each other, further strengthening the brand and ecosystem that we’re building.
Art and Design
As serial enjoyers and owners of other NFTs across the Ethereum, Solana and Cronos ecosystems ourselves (Doodles, CloneX, Murakami, utility NFTs, AI NFTs, audio/music NFTs, all kinds of monkey PFPs) — we wanted to create something that would resonate with people as an IDENTITY.
Our inhouse designers have been hard at work over the past few months conceptualising what the Argonauts should and will look like. We LOVE what they have created— the rare traits, different NFT archetypes, various fashion and vibes — and we know that you’ll love them as well. A quality community deserves quality artwork.

We won’t disclose too much in detail for now but here’s an overview of things as of yet:
